Installing PCI Compliance for Windows App

Install the PCI Compliance for Windows App to view pre-built dashboards and sample queries regarding account and system activity, login activity, and Windows System updates.

Installing the PCI Compliance for Windows App

To install the App:

  1. In the Library, click the App tab.
  2. Select PCI Compliance for Windows.

  3. Click Install.

  4. In the Install Application dialog box, choose one of the following for Data Source Mapping:
    • Select from _sourceCategory values: Choose an existing _sourceCategory present in your account used for Windows such as _sourceCategory=*/OS/Windows/Events

    • Select Custom data filter. To set up a specific data filter, type the search expression you'd like to use to filter the data. For example (_sourceCategory=OS/Windows/Security or _sourceCategory=OS/Windows/System)
  5. For Folder, choose either the Personal folder or a subfolder in the Personal folder. (Click the blue + to create a new subfolder).
  6. Click Install.
  7. When the Confirm dialog displays, click Go to navigate to the installed app.

After the Install

Once an app is installed, it will appear in your Personal folder. From here, you can publish it to share it with your organization.

Panels will start and fill automatically. It's important to note that each Panel slowly fills with data matching the time range query and received since the Panel was created. Results won't immediately be available, but with a bit of time, you'll see full graphs and maps.
